Lent Begins next week with Ash Wednesday on March 6th. A worship service with imposition of ashes will be held at 7:30pm in the Sanctuary. A Fellowship Meal will be served before the service at 6:30pm. (Additionally, there is a sign-up sheet in the narthex for those willing to help provide a meal for one of our midweek Lenten services.)
We have also set up a Meal Train account to organize meals for the Santiago family as they adjust to the busyness of their growing family. If you would be willing to provide a meal please CLICK HERE.
A Job Posting for the position of Office Administrator has been added to the Calvary website, as well as Indeed.com. If you know anyone who would be a good candidate for this position please request they submit a resume HERE. Over the next few weeks Calvary leaders expect to begin screening applications and scheduling interviews. Please pray that God would send the right person for this important position.
Start preparing your chili recipes now! Calvary’s Chili Cook-off will return this year, just in time to kick-off the Lenten season. Sunday, March 10 is the first Sunday of Lent. Join us after the service for a chili cook-off in the Fellowship Hall. All are welcome to enter their best chili recipe for a chance to win Calvary’s coveted (but not in a sinful way) chili trophys.
