Announcing a Family Night at Calvary on February 22nd at 6pm. All kids and families are welcome to join us for a night of fun, fellowship and a few projects. We plan to order pizza and play a movie for the kids (blankets, chairs, pillows welcome), while adults are invited to help clean and organize the classrooms used for our KidsChurch program. See Lori Schwartz for more info.
Calvary’s first KidsSing event will take place after worship on February 24th. All kids, regardless of age or singing ability, are welcome to stay for a few minutes after the service to sing some kid friendly songs together. This will be the first of a recurring, 4th Sunday of the month, KidsSing opportunity, which will allow the kids to learn some new songs and prepare for Sundays when they will sing together in the service.
Start preparing your chili recipes now! Calvary’s Chili Cook-off will return this year, just in time to kick-off the Lenten season. Sunday, March 10 is the first Sunday of Lent. Join us after the service for a chili cook-off in the Fellowship Hall. All are welcome to enter their best chili recipe for a chance to win Calvary’s coveted (but not in a sinful way) chili trophys.
